After starting her working life in local government land administration in Invercargill, Vicki went on to work for a short time in both in banking and insurance, before becoming a legal executive for the first time in the early 1980s, specialising in conveyancing and estates.
Following a change of career direction on the early ‘90s she qualified as a librarian whilst working for the National Library’s School Library Service, and after being made redundant, went on to run her own Information Services business.
A move to Dunedin initially merged the library and law career strands when she worked as a library assistant at Otago University’s Law Library. She then gravitated back to law, via Legal Aid, and eventually came full circle back to working as a conveyancer in late 2001.
Bringing with her almost 20 years experience, she started working at FGL in January 2013. As well as conveyancing and estate work, she is also the firm’s Trust accountant and office manager.
